For me, I was a bit confused to start with, but working with solaris and 
IBM, opt is used all the time, and SuSE loves it to, so I'm not that 
surprised.

If it's standard then let's join in. No fun destroying the community in 
reverse unison.

I'll go for standards every time, and I hated when IBM introduced the 
ps/2 port :) always had a serial port mouse when needing a ps/2 and the 
other way round. And how many confused people used it wrongly until they 
colorised the damn stuff :)
