Updating Linux SSL certificate

updating up2date re https://rhn.redhat.com/help/latest-up2date.pxt
Came up with

unresolvable chain of dependencies:
iptables-1.2.8-8.72.3 requires kernel >= 2.4.20

Any other Nessus/Linux users out there had same problem or now how to fix 
dependencies problem ?
