Isolating the plugin

Hi all,

I have a setup where I am running the nessus in verbose mode
with the commandline option with DoS tests enabled. My system is
crashing while I run the tests. I want to isolate which test is exactly
crashing my system. I have the following problems :

	1. I don't see logs about which plugins are used appearing in
nessusd.messages. I see only this

------------------------
[Fri Sep 26 15:14:24 2003][12603] user sup starts a new attack.
Target(s) : 10.2
 with max_hosts = 1 and max_checks = 10
[Fri Sep 26 15:14:24 2003][12603] user sup : testing 10.200.109.200
(10.200.109.
[Fri Sep 26 15:14:24 2003][12604] Client tried to raise the maximum
checks numbe
ng 10. Change 'max_checks' in nessusd.conf if you believe this is
incorrect
[Fri Sep 26 15:34:09 2003][12604] Finished testing 10.200.109.200. Time
: 1185.5
[Fri Sep 26 15:34:09 2003][12603] user sup : test complete
[Fri Sep 26 15:34:09 2003][12603] user sup : Kept alive connection
[Fri Sep 26 15:34:09 2003][12603] Communication closed by client
-----------------------
though on the screen I get
---------------
attack|10.200.109.200|1685|1742
attack|10.200.109.200|1686|1742
attack|10.200.109.200|1687|1742
-------------
I am running nessusd on RedHat Linux and my client is also on
the same box.

	2. The html output doesn't contain any reference to the PlugIn
that was running while the crash occurred.

	3. If I want to run just one test, for eg, only plugin ID 10017,
how do I do that ? because when I modify the $HOME/.nessusrc to have
only one test, even then, the .nessusrc is update with all the tests by
nessus automagically.

Is there is a way isolate the test/plugin which caused the crash
?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Supreeth.
