Updating Plugins Fail with uncompressing the plugins archive fail ed

Hi -

 

Having a problem when trying to update plugins with the following error
"Something went wrong when installing the plugins - uncompressing the
plugins archive failed".  The script can find everything it needs, cat, tar,
gzip, etc.  Any help would be appreciated.
