RedHat Linux 9 Installation Problem

How can I verify that it's installed and that gcc can find it?

I'm no expert on this, but I see this

libpcap-nessus is failing right off the bat.. is libpcap installed? Make 
sure it is, and that it can be found maybe gcc can't find it..
