Actually, plugins have to be written under the GPL, as NASL itself is
under the GPL and most NASL scripts are basically 'linking' to libnasl
to execute properly. If you want to write non-GPL NASL scripts, you need
an authorization from the NASL copyright holder.

No. If you provide a service with Nessus (and the Tenable plugins) you
simply need authorization to do so, that's it.  You're free to use the
"registered" feed for the purpose (and not give any money back).
