"uname -a" fails when logging into Solaris 9 host

I am trying to execute local security checks on a remote Solaris 9
Sparc box. My ssh keys are set up properly and Nessus is able to log
in, however, it returns with the error:
It was possible to log into the remote host using the supplied
password, however the execution of the command "uname -a" failed, so
local security checks have not been enabled.
Yet when logging into the box normally it works fine. This appears to
be a PATH problem and I am wondering if SSHd needs to be configured
with the --with-default-path option. This, of course, is the default
OpenSSH that ships with Solaris 9.
Any help would be appreciated...
Shawn
