user rules problem

Nessus 1.2.7 is not supported any more.

Do :
  sudo echo -n > /var/nessus/users/dick/auth/rules


and see if that fixes the problem. But you definitely want to upgrade to
Nessus 2.2, not stay with 1.2.7.
