trap in nessus-adduser AND nessus-mkcert

I downloaded and compiled Nessus 2.20.  However, when executing 
nessus-adduser I get

Enter the rules for this user, and hit ctrl-D once you are done :
(the user can have an empty rules set)


INTERRUPT

trap: usage: trap [-lp] [[arg] signal_spec ...]


Same kind of message with nessus-mkcert

trap: usage: trap [-lp] [[arg] signal_spec ...]
BASEDIR=/tmp/nessus-mkcert.22149

I saw earlier posts about a similar error for 2.10 and 2.11 was this fixed 
in 2.20?  Or is there another nessus-adduser script?  Ditto for 
nessus-mkcert OR will the fix of nessus-adduser resolve the nessus-mkcert 
problem?

Please advise.
