probelm updating nessus

I am updating Nessus and recieve the following error:

[root at juanbox nikto-1.34]# nessus-update-plugins
/usr/local/sbin/nessus-update-plugins: line 245:
/bin/cp: Argument list too long

did he updated? how can I check?
