GUI not installed?

You can't, unfortunately, since you didn't apparently didn't
have the necessary software to build the GUI. Make sure you
have GTK+ installed, including the devel package, and then
rebuild from scratch.

You'll need to create / update a client config and then run
a commandline scan. Consult the man page for nessus for help
with the commandline syntax.
