Using nessus in batch mode

I'm not sure I understand your question, but perhaps one or two of my
scripts would help:

    o describe-nessus-plugin - reports assorted descriptive information
      about plugins, including categories. It does, though, require
      read access to the plugins themselves. Find it at:

    o update-nessusrc - updates client configuration files, enabling
      and disabling plugins by id, category, family, and/or risk 
      factor. Available at:
      http://www.tifaware.com/perl/update-nessusrc/
