Cannot fork errors

Hello,

I am running Nessus on a Sun Netra T1. It was installed using the install
script and appeared to work correctly. This system had been running
previous versions of Nessus with no problems. I am also using the latest
version of NessusWX to connect and run the scans. I have not changed any
defaults for number of systems scanned in parallel, etc.

I have hundreds of "cannot fork" messages in my nessusd.messages file and
when I run a scan against a class C address space the scan fails before
completion. I have included the tail of the messages file.

Can anyone give me an idea of what to try and change or fix?
